We had a wonderful stay at Moganshan Bamboo View Guesthouse. the location in the peaceful village near Mt. Mogashan was perfect for us. the tracking routes nearby were great for exploring the beautiful surroundings. the hosts at the guesthouse were exceptional - understanding, caring, polite, and friendly throughout our visit. the rooms, including the family room and the house with two bedrooms, were clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the picturesque view of the bamboo forest. Being so close to nature was a highlight, with meals eaten outside and the opportunity to see chickens, a rooster, and a cat roaming around the garden. the food at the guesthouse was delicious and fresh, with a variety of dishes including noodles, rice, potatoes, vegetables from their own garden. the breakfast was also excellent, with bread, butter, jam, eggs. We were impressed with the available activities, including nice walks in the village and forest, tree climbing at the adventure park, and the option to rent mountain bikes. the family running the guesthouse, including Lanying who spoke excellent English, made us feel right at home.
Nothing not to like! 😄

Nicely decorated rooms complete with a really spacious balcony and lovely view and 2 bedrooms, pretty friendly and very helpful staff. As for me location is stunning, very close to several mapped hiking trails and Moganshan itself.

This hotel is a real gem! The location is perfect, just 20-30 minutes by taxi to Moganshan Scenic area, but away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms, especially those with a balcony, offer lovely views of the bamboo forest and are very spacious. Plus, the breakfast had some yummy western options. From the reviews: "Rooms are spacious, clean with a very nice bathroom" and "The rooms were clean and comfortable, with lovely balcony views of the bamboo forest. No major issues to report, everything was just perfect.

The scenic views of the bamboo forest and mountain range were undoubtedly the best aspects of this guesthouse. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff was quite friendly and accommodating. the food was a delightful surprise - flavorsome and fresh.
The overall experience was marred by poor communication and service. The staff struggled to understand our basic requests, and there were several instances of miscommunication.

The family-run establishment made me feel welcome and the homemade food was delicious. My room was clean and spacious with a balcony to enjoy the views. I highly recommend this hotel for a perfect couple of nights away.

Food was good, fresh and healthy. They offered noodles, rice, potatoes along with vegetables and chicken. the breakfast was really filling and included bread, butter, jam, eggs, and some Chinese specialties. They also allowed you to rent mountain bikes. Best aspects: the staff was very friendly and helpful. the rooms were clean and comfortable. the view on the bamboo forest is refreshing and adds a natural touch to the experience.
The location of the village is very inconvenient, it required a long taxi ride to visit the scenic area. the place is far from most of the attractions, and getting to the hotel took more than expected due to the remote and challenging accessibility.

We stayed in a charming hotel with a rustic feel and excellent service. The rooms were notably clean and cosy, with comfortable bedding, and we enjoyed a picturesque view of mountains and forests from our balcony. The hotel offered locally grown food, and we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious home-cooked meals. We appreciated the family's kindness and helpfulness in arrangements for transportation and excursions.
The bathroom design was not convenient as we found that using the shower resulted in water getting on the sink, toilet, and floor.
